Half Acre Farm specialise in growing seasonal cut flowers and foliage on our half-acre smallholding near Bolsover, Derbyshire. All of our flowers are grown naturally on site*, without the use of harmful herbicides, pesticides or fungicides and our packaging is bio-degradable and plastic free!

Our season starts in April with Tulips and daffodils, then summer brings bouquets and buckets of dahlias and annual flowers which are available for sale to florists, brides and to the general public.

*Half Acre Farm are passionate about supporting other British flower growers. Where our own flowers and foliage are in short supply (November-April) we may 'top-up' our own supply using the

Flowers From The Farm network of other small scale British flower growers.

Exciting news! Half Acre Farm are now full members of the Flowers From The Farm organisation.
Flowers from the Farm is the multi award-winning co-operative of British cut flower growers founded in 2011. Flowers from the Farm is a growing not-for-profit movement with over 500 active members from Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to Inverness. Members’ flower farms range in size from micro-businesses on allotments and cutting gardens to sites of up to 6 acres or more.

By joining Flowers From The Farm we hope to sell and promote sustainably grown, British cut flowers to a much wider audience.

Our fresh tulips are now available to order as mixed wrapped bunches. Our tulips come with their bulbs still attached to ensure that they remain in the best condition prior to displaying in a vase!
